Neck Of The Woods is a music festival in Townsville, NORTH QUEENSLAND curated by neighbourhood sessions. The festival is set amongst the Pinnacles Mountain Range, 30 minutes from the Townsville CBD. Neck of the Woods celebrates Australian original music, showcasing over 20 upcoming australian artists over the long weekend in June. neighbourhood sessions champion local artists from the north queensland region and are committed to placing NQ Artists on the same festival lineup as established touring acts. #NOTW features camping, lifestyle activities such as yoga workshops, art installations, an interactive children's area and a festival marketplace showcasing Townsville’s best street food and artisan market stalls. #NOTW is townsville's family friendly music festival.
Neck Of The Woods music festival is held on a private property in the suburb Pinnacles in townsville. neck of the woods festival site is just a 10min drive past the ross river dam. there will be signage on the festival weekend starting at the ross river dam to make it super easy to find!

The Festival Weekender
The Festival Weekender includes festival entry & camping for BOTH Saturday AND Sunday (2 days/nights). This ticket type permits 1x patron to be at the campground site from 9am on Saturday the 29th June and enter the festival site throughout the duration of Neck Of The Woods. The campgrounds must be vacated by 12pm on Monday the 1st July.
The One Nighter (ADULT 18+)
The One Nighter includes festival entry & camping for your choice of EITHER Saturday OR Sunday (1 day/night). This ticket type permits 1x patron to be at the campground site from 9am on Saturday the 29th June OR 9am Sunday the 30th of June and enter the festival site throughout the duration of the program on the respective day of choice (Saturday OR Sunday). This ticket is only valid for use on on either Saturday OR Sunday and due to the unique QR code will not be valid if an attempt is made to use this ticket type on more than one day of the festival.
Youth Tickets (12-17y/o)
All patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and will not be permitted to enter the festival site/campgrounds unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
The Big Rig Pass
The Big Rig Pass is an EXTRA PASS required IN ADDITION to a "Festival Weekender" OR "One Nighter" if you are camping in anything other than a tent eg. Camper Van/Trailer, Caravan, Bus, RV etc.
Only ONE Big Rig Pass is required per vehicle (Camper Van/Trailer, Caravan, Bus or RV).
Note: You are permitted to bring a standard size vehicle into the campground and leave at your campsite without purchasing a Big Rig Pass if space permits.
Kids Under 12
Kids under 12 are free and do not require a ticket to enter Neck Of The Woods. All patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and will not be permitted to enter the festival site/campgrounds unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

Sunday: 07:00AM Festival access opens // 9:00AM Camping access opens // 9:00AM-9:30AM Festival access temporarily closes // 9:30AM Festival Access reopens //11PM - Festival access closes
Monday: *Campsite & Festival must be vacated by 12:00PM
All Ages Event - Photo ID is strictly required for entry to the festival for patrons over 18.
Wristbands will be issued on entry to the festival grounds (Different colours represent different ticket types - Saturday/Sunday/Festival Weekender/under 18/18+). Wristbands are to be worn and visible at all times. Wristbands are non-refundable, non-transferable and invalid if tampered with or broken. If you do not have a wristband or are wearing an incorrect wristband, you will need to purchase a new wristband or leave the festival grounds.
Each person camping must purchase their own individual ticket (One Nighter OR Festival Weekender)
There are no allocated camp sites and it will be first in best dressed for locations on site.
Strictly no vehicle movement in the camping grounds between 5:00PM and 6:00AM daily for safety reasons. We take safety seriously at Neck Of The Woods and if this is not abided by, we will remove your festival pass and ask you to leave the festival site and campground.
The campground must be vacated by 12pm on Monday the 1st July.
The Neighbourhood Sessions Team and Festival Security team have the right to refuse entry or ask patrons to leave who behave inappropriately/illegally/offensively.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Alcohol - The festival encourages a mature and safe drinking culture. Drink Responsibly. Strictly no glass will be allowed in the festival site. Underage drinking or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Police will be notified and appropriate action taken if necessary.
Those caught with illegal substances in their possession will be asked to leave the festival grounds and dealt with by law.
LOSS/THEFT OF PERSONAL ITEMS
The Neighbourhood Sessions Team are unable to accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal items.
Please take home your rubbish or utilise the bins provided around the festival grounds. Please use these facilities thoughtfully. Preferably take all your rubbish home with you and help us keep our friendly Neighbourhood clean and tidy.
In true festival spirit, we understand that campfire singalongs are inevitable. We simply ask that you be respectful and kill the volume at a reasonable hour. At midnight, when the festival’s music finishes, there should not be music played in the campground.
No pets or animals are allowed on site (Excluding guide dogs or assistance dogs)
Tickets are non refundable or transferrable - please select your ticket type carefully.
The use of generators is STRICTLY LIMITED to portable camp generators (Maximum of 1-2KVA). Anything larger or louder is strictly prohibited.
CAN I BRING GAZEBO'S INTO THE FESTIVAL SITE?
You are welcome to bring a gazebo into the campground and setup at your campsite provided there is adequate space - however you are not permitted to bring a gazebo into the festival site as this can obstruct the view of patrons and disrupt the festival experience.
CAN I HAVE A CAMPFIRE?
Yes - campfires are permitted - unless subject to seasonal fire bans/restrictions. All fires must be enclosed in a fire pit or brazier and must have a bucket of water on hand beside them at all times. Fires must not be left unattended and must be put out before leaving the campsite.
MY FRIENDS HAVE A "BIG RIG”, AND I HAVE A TENT - CAN WE CAMP IN THE SAME AREA?
Big Rigs will have an allocated section of the campsite - however friends in tents are welcome to join them in this area. Big Rigs will not be permitted to camp in the Tents Only area.
CAN I BRING A GAS BOTTLE?
Yes - provided they are within service date. This will be checked on entry.
